Mark I Mocap System
The FIE Mark I Portable Mocap System consists of 20 Natural Point v100 cameras. These cameras can shoot 100 fps. They can be brought in close to create a high resolution facial capture volume, or pulled back to a full body capture volume. 1-2 actors can be captured at a time.
The system can run Natural Point Arena software for realtime capture. It can stream realtime data to Motion Builder for realtime visualization. For further infomation on Arena, see the Natural Point website.
In this configuration, its best to export c3d data to motionbuilder, for further optical cleanup and eventual retargeting, in most cases.
Facilities that have licenses and experience with Vicon Blade can use the c3d data directly in their existing cleanup pipeline.
This system is also the development and proving platform for Kinearx. As Kinearx is under active development, it may not be right for your current needs. However, depending on what your needs are, it is available and capable on this system.
